1974 Nautor Swan 38. One of Nautor Swan’s most classic and best selling models of all time, the 38 epitomizes 1970’s blue water performance, elegance, and Nordic build quality. The hull's backbone, a massive stainless steel girder, is solidly glassed into the bottom of the hull, providing enormous strength and stiffness. This boat excels in heavy weather, offering security regardless of conditions and performing well both upwind and down. Unique features include dual recessed spinnaker pole storage and boom furling mainsail. The interior showcases traditional teak joinery and workmanship. Decks are well constructed of hand-laid laminate around a foam core, with a teak deck covering that was completely redone in 2004. The original Buhk engine was replaced with a Yanmar 3GM30F in 1988.
