Description

Tarka is a wonderful sailboat, originally bought by my father in 2006 or 2007 in Michigan and then brought to Lake Champlain upon his retirement. She's been serviced and stored at Shelburne Shipyard ever since and has been on the hard for 3 years. Despite efforts, it just hasn't worked out for us. Significant time and money were invested in her renovation, including all new kitchen, head, diesel engine, windlass, sails, canvas, deck, and a bottom paint in 2019. Most of her soft goods and electronics have been stored at home while she's been in her cradle at SSY. She has been well cared for, and there is extensive documentation on all her new components and log files available for serious buyers.
