Description

The Mainship 430 is a popular two stateroom, two head (each with shower), galley down Trawler. With a 15'6" beam she offers tons of living and storage space while still allowing for ample walk ways on both sides of the deck. Great for extended cruising or doing the Great Loop! The flybridge provides a great view while helming in good weather. A second helm station below is perfect for those days when the weather is less than perfect. The 430 combines traditional trawler styling with a modified Vee planing hull, allowing for faster speeds when you need it. Solid twin Yanmar diesel propulsion....

Captain's Notes

Step aboard and you’ll notice how the 430 feels more like a small waterfront condo than a typical trawler. Big salon windows flood the space with light, and the galley-down layout keeps cooking separate while still open to the conversation. Wide, safe molded steps to the bridge beat climbing a ladder at the end of a long day. Up top, there’s room for friends around the helm and space aft for chairs or a dinghy. The walk-in engine room access makes routine checks far less of a chore, and generous tankage means you can stretch out your cruising plans without constantly hunting for fuel docks.

Why 430 Trawler in Ohio

This 430 is well suited to a region where you’ll see everything from tight marina fairways to long open-water runs between harbors. The generous beam and hard chines give reassuring stability in short, choppy conditions, while the efficient hull rewards slow, economical trawler speeds on longer passages. Twin diesels and a bow-friendly profile make docking in crosswinds more manageable. With two true staterooms and real showers, it’s comfortable for extended seasonal cruising when weather can swing from cool and blustery to hot and humid, and the covered side decks and high rails add confidence when you’re moving forward in less-than-perfect conditions.
