1995 Jamestowner HOUSEBOAT

Step aboard and the first thing you notice is how bright and open everything feels. Large windows keep you connected to the water, whether you’re cooking breakfast or unwinding on the sofa. The layout is smart, with real separation between social space and sleeping quarters, so early risers and night owls can happily coexist. Wide side decks and solid railings make getting around outside feel secure, even with kids or guests carrying coolers. Up top, there’s ample room to set up loungers or a dining area, turning sunsets into a nightly ritual. Storage is generous throughout, so gear, toys, and provisions disappear neatly out of sight.

This Jamestowner is particularly well suited to inland lakes and relaxed waterways where space, comfort, and easy handling matter more than speed. The beam and length give you a remarkably stable platform, ideal for tying up in coves, hosting weekend crews, or spending extended time aboard without feeling cramped. Shallow-draft friendly design lets you explore closer to shore and enjoy quieter anchorages. With the emphasis on liveaboard-style amenities, you gain the comforts of a floating cabin while retaining the freedom to relocate when the mood strikes. For anyone who wants a homey base on the water rather than just a day boat, this model is an excellent fit.
