Description

I'm selling our 1999 C&C 110 that is in very clean condition. The boat has always been a fresh water boat and is located in Grand River, Ohio. The boat is equipped with a 28 HP Volvo diesel and sail drive, both the water pressure pump and kitchen foot pump, macerator and bilge pumps were replaced last year. All 3 batteries are new this season. The jib and mainsails are in great shape, with the jib on its third season. There is a sail pack and lazy jacks on the boom for the mainsail. Captain's Notes

Step aboard and you’ll notice how open and secure the cockpit feels for a performance 36-footer—high coamings, solid ergonomics, and hardware laid out so a couple can handle her with ease. Below, the C&C/Tartan 110 has the warm, classic joinery Tartan is known for, with a practical U-shaped galley that works underway and at anchor. The wide side decks and inboard shrouds make moving forward safe and simple, and she has that easily driven hull form that keeps you sailing when lighter boats are motoring. You get the reassuring build quality of Tartan with C&C’s lively, responsive feel on the helm—quick enough for club racing, yet still civilized for weekends away.

Why 110 in Ohio

On these waters, conditions can swing from light summer breezes to choppy, breeze-on afternoons, and the 110 is designed to stay comfortable and fast across that range. The Scheel keel offers shoal draft for exploring skinnier harbors without giving up pointing ability when you’re beating into a short, steep chop. Her balanced sail plan means you can keep the boat on her feet and moving without an oversized crew, ideal for shorthanded daysails or evening races. When weather systems roll through, the solid Tartan construction and predictable handling inspire confidence, while the roomy interior turns those shoulder-season weekends into relaxed, stay-aboard getaways.
