Description

A beautiful example of an elegant and capable blue water cruiser. Cool Breez'n has been lovingly cared for by her owners of 19 years. Designed by Bill Crealock, this solid and seaworthy boat is well suited for inside passages as well as more exposed blue water passages. She has sailed most summers around the San Juan Islands, the Canadian Gulf Islands, and Desolation Sound. Captain's Notes

Step aboard and you can feel that this Crealock 37 has been used as a true cruising home, not a dock queen. The layout is classic Pacific Seacraft: a secure U-shaped galley right at the companionway, deep double sinks, and braced workspaces that make cooking underway practical instead of precarious. Ventilation is excellent, with opening ports and hatches that keep the cabin dry and comfortable during those long, damp stretches between weather windows. The cockpit is deep and protected, with sea-kindly coamings that make watchkeeping less tiring on multi-day passages. Below the waterline, the moderate displacement and encapsulated ballast translate into a motion that’s gentle on crew and gear alike—ideal when the forecast doesn’t quite match reality.

Why Crealock 37 in Washington

In these waters, you need a boat that can slip through tight passes one day and shrug off a surprise gale the next, and the Crealock 37 was built for exactly that mix. The hull form tracks solidly in chop and handles standing waves and confused currents with reassuring control, while the cutter-style sail plan lets you dial in a balanced rig when the wind pipes up. Her moderate draft opens up more anchorages and cozy coves, yet she has the heft and build quality to ride comfortably when the breeze funnels down long channels. Add in secure deck layouts and a seakindly interior, and you get a cruiser that feels at home in both sheltered inlets and open stretches between headlands.
