Description

Turn Key and well maintained 340 Sundancer is Sea Ray's later version of the 340 Sundancer line. She has a wider 12' beam than her predecessor, updated Sea Ray lines, and is a true head turner. She is also one of the few in the Northwest with the upgraded 8.1L engines that give her improved performance. She will run the same speed but lower RPMs than the 6.2L engines. This will actually save fuel and engine maintenance. Further, your engine life will be drastically increased and have the ability for faster speeds should you want to get to your destination quickly or outrun a fast-moving...

Captain's Notes

Step aboard and you’ll notice how the extra beam really opens up the cockpit for entertaining. The curved aft lounge wraps around a removable table, making it easy to switch from morning coffee spot to sunset happy hour. At the helm, the double-wide captain’s seat and companion bench keep everyone part of the conversation underway. Below, the mid-cabin converts from a cozy lounge to a private berth, and the galley offers real meal capability with generous counter space and storage for extended weekends. Wide side decks and a solid, molded-in step at the dash give you confident access to the foredeck sun pads, so the whole boat is truly usable space.

Why 340 Sundancer in Washington

For local waters that mix cool seasons with busy summer traffic, this 340 Sundancer hits a sweet spot. The beam and hull form deliver a stable ride in afternoon chop, while the size keeps moorage and fuel reasonable compared to larger cruisers. Enclosed canvas and reverse-cycle heat let you stretch the cruising season well beyond peak months, and air conditioning keeps the cabin comfortable during warm spells. The layout works perfectly for harbor-hopping with friends or taking the family on multi-day trips, with enough storage and tankage to stay away from the dock. It’s small enough to manage confidently, yet big enough to feel like a true cruising yacht in this region.
