Captain's Notes

What stands out on this 26 Weekender is how thoughtfully it’s been set up for long, slow days on the water as much as quick runs offshore. The cat hull gives you a wide, stable platform, so four people can work lines without bumping elbows, and the cabin offers real escape from sun or sudden squalls instead of just token storage. With the recent structural and electrical upgrades already handled, you’re free to focus on customizing the fish deck, electronics, and seating exactly to your style. It’s the kind of rig you can dial in over time, not one you’ll outgrow in a season.

Why 26 Weekender in Florida

A 26-foot power cat like this shines where conditions can change fast—afternoon chop, confused cross-seas, and tight intracoastal channels are where the twin-hull design really earns its keep. The efficient footprint lets you slip into shallow bays and passes, yet the beam and twin engines give you the confidence to range well offshore when the window opens. The enclosed forward space is a big advantage for storing gear dry and giving crew a place to duck out of the heat. For a mix of trolling, bottom fishing, sandbar hopping, and weekend cruising, this model is a versatile, economical choice.
