Captain's Notes

Step aboard this 322 Crowne and you’ll see why these early-90s Chris Crafts still have such a loyal following. The beam gives you a big, stable platform and a cockpit that can actually host friends without feeling crowded. The molded swim platform makes getting in and out of the water simple, and wide side decks give you safer passage forward than many boats in this size range. Down below, the mid-cabin layout typically offers a surprisingly private sleeping area plus a roomy dinette, making overnighting comfortable for couples or a small family. The classic sheer line and integrated radar arch still look sharp at the dock and underway.

Why 322 Crowne in Indiana

A 32-foot express cruiser like the Chris Craft 322 Crowne is ideal for mixed cruising where you might split time between calm inland waterways and more open stretches. The moderate draft lets you explore shallower coves and anchorages, while the wide beam adds confidence when afternoon chop kicks up. With twin gas power, you have the maneuverability to handle tight marinas and the punch to run comfortably at cruising speed on longer weekend hops. The generous cockpit seating works well for sandbar rafting or sunset cruises, and the cabin layout makes it practical to stay aboard rather than hunt for shoreside lodging.
