Description

This is a carefully restored classic Century Arabian 19-foot runabout built in 1966 and faithfully rebuilt primarily from 2002 to 2004. It has had only a few owners and is now lovingly cared for by the late owner’s family. Beautifully executed restoration, fully documented. Vessel shows very well with original deck hardware and good brightwork. Engine in particularly good visual condition. Climate-controlled storage for last 20 years. Custom trailer. The bottom below the waterline has been redone using Okoume plywood sheathing followed by mahogany planks. The original Chrysler Century...

Captain's Notes

Slide into the helm and you’re greeted by that low, sporty windshield and a cockpit that feels more like a vintage roadster than a runabout. The Arabian’s deep, sculpted aft bench and wide observer seat invite you to bring a full crew, while the open floorplan keeps everyone in the conversation. The boat’s pronounced tumblehome and flared bow make it stand out instantly at any dock, especially with the chrome hardware catching the light. Underway, the weight and hull form give a confident, planted ride in chop, and that big V8 has the unmistakable burble of a proper classic. It’s the kind of boat that draws questions at the ramp and approving nods from seasoned wooden-boat hands.

Why Arabian in California

A 19-foot Arabian hits a sweet spot for waters where you want real performance without fighting big-boat logistics. It’s compact enough for easy trailering, quick launches, and exploring tighter coves, yet the hull carries enough beam and deadrise to stay composed in afternoon wind chop. The inboard power and balanced weight distribution help it track straight in boat wakes and during tow-sports, while the low profile slips neatly into covered storage or smaller lifts. Classic mahogany and period styling add serious dockside appeal in marinas where most hulls look the same, giving you a distinctive ride that’s still practical for regular day use in local lakes and nearshore waters.
